Woods Architecture & Project Management were engaged to design and oversee the conversion of a mid-terrace three-bay Georgian protected structure. The building had been in use as a solicitors office for a number of years before Woods Architecture was engaged to prepare a design to return the building to its former residential use.


The scheme proposed the creation of 1no. one-bed and 1no. two-bed duplex units at basement and ground floor levels and a large one-bed unit at first and second-floor levels.

Woods Architecture successfully attained planning permission for the conversion in late 2017. The property was sold with the benefit of planning permission in early 2019 and Woods Architecture was retained by the purchaser to develop the design and oversee the conversion and renovation works.

The project is currently on-site and due to be completed in early 2020.
